Artist Statement.

I am an artist meditating on nature's beauty and our human response of joy and peace. My work is driven by concepts of faith, stewardship, and lifestyle as I learn to respond to nature through my art. By grounding my work in landscape, I honor how the land speaks to me through its beauty and mystery. Learning to see these elements in nature becomes a necessary skill in maintaining hope and navigating an ever-changing world. Suggestive brushwork and soft textures invite exploration of this process of learning to see. My art creates spaces for us to remember the simplicity of joy inspired by nature, stilling our hearts and allowing for our souls to speak. I am driven to engage the community through these conversations, leaning into mystery and unanswerable questions through a common connection to beauty and wonder.
